Andrea Galvin provides Literacy Skills Assessments to parents/individuals that may suspect they or their child is struggling but need to have a precise report on what areas any challenges may lie. You don't have to become a student of Andrea's if all you require is the assessment.

The report includes phonological awareness skills, sight word knowledge, penmanship/letter formation skills, alphabet awareness/sequencing, sound/symbol knowledge, reading level, decoding (reading) and encoding (spelling) skills. It also comes with valuable suggestions for at home and school support.
The assessment process takes 3 sessions in Andrea's home office and the report will be forwarded to families/individuals within one to two weeks.
Clients not only find this valuable information for themselves but they have also used the report in conjunction with the school to help develop Individual Education Plans and forwarded the very beneficial information to Teachers, Principals and Child Psychologists.
The report can also be used in School Based Resource Team meetings to help determine if your child needs extra support at school.
